Day One Trends presents " Juneteenth Freedom Day" in honor of the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, slaves were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.
The June 19th event is Hosted by AG the God and will be full of live musical performances from some of the dopest local artists like, ADDVantz, Jacene, GirlNxtdoor, and many more. Make sure you come out to celebrate the freedom of all our ancestors. The doors open at 6pm and the live performances start at 7pm. Admission is only $10 if you grab your tickets before June 18th. A few of our On-Air Talent and Bloggers from Cincy Underground will be there to get exclusive interviews of the artists and their guests! Come dressed in theme and ready to celebrate! We will meet you there at The Flex Shop located at 914 Race Street in Cincinnati Ohio.
