In 2007 and 2008 Marvis Green was the keynote speaker for the MS Rally at Macy’s Credit and Customer Service. In 2007, she was the recipient of the YMCA Black Achievers Award for Outstanding Community Service. In 2008 she founded The MS Motivational Institute, Inc, and continues to be active within the community.
Its primary mission is to provide motivation through speaking, advocacy, education, and other services for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients and their families.
Their focus is on serving those living with MS in the Greater Cincinnati Area, and abroad.
While MSMI has received two Proclamations from the City of Cincinnati in 2020 and 2021, therefore October 8th has been designating MSMI Day in the City of Cincinnati.
The MSMI, By Order Of the Board of County Commissioners, Hamilton County, Ohio was honored and recognized for our distinguished service to the citizens of Hamilton County.
