Colerain Police announce the arrest of Vandell Slade, the final suspect in the 2017 mass shooting at a gender reveal party on Capstan Drive in Colerain Township.
On July 8th, 2017 Slade, Roshawn Bishop 28, James Echols 23, and Michael Sanon 20 broke into a house in Colerain on Capstan Drive in the middle of a baby shower/gender reveal party. The suspects allegedly opened fire, killing Autumn Garrett 22. They injured 8 others including 3 children.
It was later discovered that Cheyanne Willis who the party was for, was never even pregnant.
Slade faces two charges of murder, two charges of felonious assault, and one charge of attempted murder according to court documents.
